Wallet

Beta

Wallet is in Beta

Here's what that means for you, in plain language, plus the technical details.

For everyone (non-technical)
What "beta" means in everyday terms.

"Beta" means Wallet is an early, work-in-progress version of the app. We've released it so real users like you can try it out and give feedback, but it hasn't gone through the same level of testing as a finished product.

During this beta period, you might notice:

  • Occasional bugs, glitches, or features that don't work as expected.
  • Changes to how features look or behave, sometimes without notice.
  • Slower support responses, since we're a small team focused on fixing issues.
  • The rare chance that some data needs to be corrected or reset while we fix problems.

We recommend keeping your own backups of important financial documents (bank statements, receipts, etc.) rather than relying solely on Wallet during this period. If something looks wrong or breaks, please let us know so we can fix it.

For technical users
The details behind the beta label.

Wallet is under active development across its frontend, API, and background data services. Being in beta means:

  • Schemas, API contracts, and data models may change between releases.
  • Automated processes (such as transaction verification and scraping) are still being tuned for accuracy, and may misclassify or miss data occasionally.
  • Monitoring and error handling are improving, but not yet exhaustive.
  • Deployments happen frequently, so short interruptions or rollbacks can occur while issues are addressed.

We do not currently guarantee data durability or uptime SLAs during beta. Treat Wallet as a companion tool rather than your system of record until it exits beta.
